CKF_13 & Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City awarded!

We have reason to be proud! Hotel Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City and CKF_13 Fabryczna Conference Centre have been awarded with the “Dźwigacz Kultury” distinction by the Kraków Festival Office.

Dźwigacz Kultury is a distinction established to appreciate those entities that support Kraków culture in a special way. The group of those awarded so far includes representatives of the business world, media, municipal companies and public institutions. The distinction is awarded by the Kraków Festival Office – the organizer of such events as the Film Music Festival in Kraków, Misteria Paschalia, Sacrum Profanum, Wreaths in Kraków, the Conrad Festival, the Miłosz Festival and Around the Nativity Scene.

Both the Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City hotel and CKF_13 have been jointly organizing cultural events at Fabryczna 13 for years. Only this winter, thanks to their efforts, guests could admire a beautiful nativity scene in our spaces as part of the Kraków New Year’s Nativity Scenes competition, referring to the 650th anniversary of the Jagiellonian University, and also containing motifs from the most important monuments of Kraków, such as St. Mary’s Church, the Sigismund’s Chapel or the papal “window” from ul. Franciszkańska 3.

The hotel spaces also hosted an exhibition and vernissage of works by Łucja Kłańska – Kanarek, and in previous years other local artists have exhibited their works here – including Maggie Piu and Iwona Łyś-Dobradin.

Congratulations!
