The biggest Ice Swimming Festival in Krakow will take place on November 11, 2024 at Fabryczna 13!
Under the patronage of AWF in Krakow, we invite you to the unique event Cold Without Limitations: Power of Body and Mind. This is where you can support Mary Icebreaker, who will attempt to break the Guinness Record by standing for 3 hours and 7 minutes in a standing position in ice up to her neck!
All winter swimming fans and those who are wondering how to start will have plenty of opportunities to learn more about the topic. In the Fabryczna Conference Center CKF_13 there will be lectures with real specialists on the subject of body contact with cold:
– 👨⚕️ Dr. Tomasz Sanak, MD – hypothermia specialist, who will discuss how the human body reacts to extreme cold.
– 🏆 Valerjan Romanovski – multiple Guinness record holder who will share his extreme challenges in the world of cold.
– 🚑 Maciej Biela – paramedic, specialist in first aid for hypothermia and winter swimming.
– 🧗♂️ Piotr Śliwiński – traveler and Himalayan climber, conqueror of eight peaks of the Crown of the Earth, including Mount Everest, who will share his experiences from expeditions to the coldest corners of the world.
– 👩⚕️ Ewelina Pilszczek – dietitian and nutritional therapist, who will talk about how the diet supports the body in cold conditions and during winter swimming, helping to regenerate and maintain immunity.
Of course, you will be able to have some ice swimming at Fabryczna 13!
In the Ice Swimming Tow, specially prepared for this occasion on Fabryczna (between the Pino Factory and Destilo restaurants), you will find a Reset Zone with regular entries to a tub of ice water – perfect for quick cooling and regeneration. For the brave, we also have the Long Ice Swimming Zone, with the possibility of longer immersion in icy water under the assistance of paramedics.
*Cost of participation in the Long Ice Swimming: PLN 300.

Apart from the paid Long Ice Swimming Zone, all other attractions, including inspiring lectures at CKF_13 and the opportunity to immerse in icy water under the supervision of experienced walruses, are free of charge!
It is a celebration of winter bathing and extreme challenges, where cold and sports enthusiasts will meet to gain knowledge and break their limits. We invite you to Fabryczna 13 – this is where we meet!
